Huge thanks to Carolina Shoe for supporting what I do, without them awesome builds like this wouldn't be possible! This leg is an exact full scale model of my own leg. The leg and base are made from maple butcher block scraps from previous projects. The lamp shade is welded from scrap lengths of rebar and wrapped in pleather attached using paracord that looks like Carolina's boot laces. The boot is attached using a threaded brass lamp rod through the entire leg with a nut on both ends. There are also a couple of screws into the toe of the boot/foot.

Internet Marketing Tip: If you use an automatic link submission service as part of your internet marketing strategy, do not rely on a particular service recommended in a marketing reference. The turnover in these services is extremely rapid, and yesterday's best deal quickly becomes a bad investment. Make sure you engage the most up-to-date service. Checking with other website owners might be the best way to gauge which service is currently on top of the heap.

  2. I said it before, this is so warped, and I LOVE IT! Those arbor tech things are cool, too expensive though. I’ll wait until I find a cheap knock off!!

  3. This seems so wrong and I really don’t want to like it but yet I love it. That is so awesome. Great work. I have always loved that movie to.

  4. So, other than seeing your sexy leg made out of wood, the win for me in this video? That you used the vacuum to suck the string up the threaded lamp pipe! That’s an awesome trick man! I wish I would have known that years ago when I was restoring vintage floor lamps! Also, I was happy to see Kristin make a quick cameo during the welding! Sweet work Paul.
